Library Services for Older Adults at The New York Public Library

Books and materials on every subject imaginable, in a wide range of formats including: large print and audio books, DVD's, videotapes, music CD's, magazines and newspapers

Programs and classes such as computer training, book discussions, movie screenings, music and dance performances, and author talks

Adaptive devices such as computer screen magnification and speech synthesis software enable persons with visual, hearing, and other physical impairments to find information without assistance

Books-by-Mail Service free of charge for persons who are homebound and cannot come to the library (212) 621-0564; TTY (212) 612-0553
